DESCRIPTION:The perfect opportunity to combine exploration of Croome Court with the experience of wonderful English music performed in an idyllic setting – why not make a day of it? \nParticipants in the Elgar Festival/Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Young Performer Showcase Programme and formed in 2024\, the LANO Quartet is a dynamic young ensemble dedicated to expressive and thoughtful music-making who perform across the UK and internationally. Recent engagements including the Leeds International Concert Series and the International Malcolm Arnold Festival. The LANO Quartet has received coaching from renowned ensembles such as the Kuss Quartet and the Castalian Quartet\, among others. DESCRIPTION:A walk through Croome Park reveals the way in which RAF Defford changed the 18th century landscape created by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. Along the way\, there are tales of an extraordinary airfield waiting to be told. \nThis secret airbase was where Radar was installed in the aircraft of the Telecommunications Research Establishment (TRE) and tested and developed to help win the Second World War. Budding chefs can discover textures\, create imaginary recipes\, and find out what Croome’s wildlife might have on their dinner plate. \nAfter completing the trail\, make your way to the house to see the exhibition in the saloon. Created by artist Sarah Taylor Silverwood and young people from Pershore Riverside Youth Centre\, Plate Up features vibrant ceramic plates and a community cookbook co‑created by the artist and young people\, inspired by shared processes of cooking\, drawing\, clay and print. \nThe trail is free to take part in and activity sheets can be picked up from the Outdoor Hub\, near Visitor Reception (normal admission applies).

DESCRIPTION:An immersive projection experience with a special opportunity to see Croome at twilight. \nRapturous Delight: Croome’s festive sensory experience is a specially commissioned\, immersive projection within the Long Gallery in the Court by Leo & Hyde. Inspired by Croome’s Pages from Nature theme\, celebrating the 200-year anniversary of the publication of the Hortus Croomensis. This enchanting light and sound experience explores Croome’s remarkable landscape and plant collection\, bringing the outside in for our visitors to enjoy over the festive season. \nWe recommend you start your visit after 2pm to get the full experience at twilight. \nEntry will be by timed tickets\, which will be available from reception on arrival. \nEvent dates: The trail takes place between 29 November 2025 to 4 January 2026 from 10.00 am to 4.00pm (closed 24 & 25 December)\nFrom 10am – 11am every morning\, we’re offering a relaxed session where visitor numbers in the house will be limited to support anyone who will benefit from a quieter experience. \nPrice: Free – normal admission charges apply \nFor more information\, visit the National Trust website.

DESCRIPTION:Join a National Trust ranger for a twilight walk in the garden to see and listen to bats at Croome. Those attending will use bat detectors to listen to the bats. \nA range of bat species can be found at the property including Lesser Horseshoes\, pipistrelles and Daubenton bats. They roost in some of the buildings and eat insects in the garden and park. \nAssemble at 7.30pm by the visitor reception for a cold drink and a snack\, followed by a walk in the garden to look and listen for the bats\, finishing at around 10pm. \nThe walk route is approximately 2 – 3 miles. SUMMARY:Bat Walk at Croome
DESCRIPTION:Join a National Trust ranger for a twilight walk in the garden to see and listen to bats at Croome. Those attending will use bat detectors to listen to the bats. \nA range of bat species can be found at the property including Lesser Horseshoes\, pipistrelles and Daubenton bats. They roost in some of the buildings and eat insects in the garden and park. \nAssemble at 7.30pm by the visitor reception for a cold drink and a snack\, followed by a walk in the garden to look and listen for the bats\, finishing at around 10pm. \nThe walk route is approximately 2 – 3 miles. The day will feature brass band performances at 11am and 1pm and a WWII sing-along throughout the day. \nLissie Allsopp sing a long at 12pm and 2pm. \nPershore cadets will also be showcasing flight simulators in the SOQ (sergeants’ and orderlies’ quarters) for a drop-in session. \nThis event\, which runs from 10am – 4pm\, is free to all\, with no entry fees.
