Tours are held every Wednesday at 11am and every Thursday at 2pm from March to October. \nThe tour begins near reception and finishes at the house. \nEach tour lasts about 60 minutes and covers approximately one-and-a-half miles on hard surfaced paths in the garden. \nAll tours are subject to volunteer availability; if volunteers are not available\, guided tours may not go ahead. \nTours are free and booking is not needed\, but normal admission charges apply for the venue (free for NT members).

DESCRIPTION:A walk through Croome Park reveals the way in which RAF Defford changed the 18th century landscape created by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. Along the way\, there are tales of an extraordinary airfield waiting to be told. \nThis secret airbase was where Radar was installed in the aircraft of the Telecommunications Research Establishment (TRE) and tested and developed to help win the Second World War. DESCRIPTION:The perfect opportunity to combine exploration of Croome Court with the experience of wonderful English music performed in an idyllic setting – why not make a day of it? \nParticipants in the Elgar Festival/Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Young Performer Showcase Programme and formed in 2024\, the LANO Quartet is a dynamic young ensemble dedicated to expressive and thoughtful music-making who perform across the UK and internationally. Recent engagements including the Leeds International Concert Series and the International Malcolm Arnold Festival. The LANO Quartet has received coaching from renowned ensembles such as the Kuss Quartet and the Castalian Quartet\, among others. DESCRIPTION:An immersive projection experience with a special opportunity to see Croome at twilight. \nRapturous Delight: Croome’s festive sensory experience is a specially commissioned\, immersive projection within the Long Gallery in the Court by Leo & Hyde. Inspired by Croome’s Pages from Nature theme\, celebrating the 200-year anniversary of the publication of the Hortus Croomensis. This enchanting light and sound experience explores Croome’s remarkable landscape and plant collection\, bringing the outside in for our visitors to enjoy over the festive season. \nWe recommend you start your visit after 2pm to get the full experience at twilight. \nEntry will be by timed tickets\, which will be available from reception on arrival. \nEvent dates: The trail takes place between 29 November 2025 to 4 January 2026 from 10.00 am to 4.00pm (closed 24 & 25 December)\nFrom 10am – 11am every morning\, we’re offering a relaxed session where visitor numbers in the house will be limited to support anyone who will benefit from a quieter experience. \nPrice: Free – normal admission charges apply \nFor more information\, visit the National Trust website.
