DESCRIPTION:The Midsummer Malvern Community Celebration is back – and it’s bigger and better than ever! It’s a jam-packed day of family fun at one of Malvern’s best-loved free community events. Come and celebrate our vibrant community with fun\, food and friendship – there’s something for everyone. \nOrganised by Community Action Malvern in partnership with Malvern Civic Society\, there’s a wealth of activities and entertainment including cool modern jazz from West Coast Sound\, a performance by the 80-strong I-Sing Choir\, traditional Ukrainian singing and dancing\, a talk by our local transatlantic solo rowing superstar\, craft and charity stalls\, and lots of children’s activities\, including a Treasure Trail and Splat the Rat. \nBring your canine friend along to show off their looks and skills in our Dog Show at 11.30am. Classes include Waggiest Tail\, Most Adorable Pup\, Most Handsome Rescue and Most Obedient Dog. Or perhaps you Look like your Dog? Whatever class you enter\, you’ll be in with a chance to win Best in Show. \nSample some delicious food and drink options\, find out about local groups to join and meet your neighbourhood fire brigade and police officers. \nA great day out for all\, running 11.30am – 5pm. SUMMARY:The Mayor's Peaks Challenge 2025
DESCRIPTION:Can you take on the challenge of walking either 18km or 9km over the Malvern Hills? We are back for another year with the Mayor’s Peak Challenge in aid of Cube Youth. \nThis year join us on 3 May\, when you will be able to walk either a long walk of 18km or a shorter walk of 9km with all walkers receiving a t-shirt and medal. \nWe also welcome dogs on the walk\, and all dogs will receive a rosette and dog treat bag for completing the walk. \nIf walking isn’t your thing\, come down to Priory Park\, where you can welcome back the walkers\, take part in fun activities\, and enjoy live entertainment. \nEvent details\nLong Walk: Meet at Priory Park at 8am for registration\, with coaches leaving promptly at 8.30am. Walks start at 9am with all walkers being back at Priory Park by 5.30pm (after this time the finish line will no longer be manned).\nShort Walk: Meet at Priority Park at 10am for registration\, with coaches leaving promptly at 10:30am. Walks start at 11am with all walkers being back at Priory Park by 5:30pm (after this time the finish line will no longer be manned). \nEarly bird tickets available until midnight on 16 March 2025. \nAll participants must be confident they are able to partake and finish the walk. \nAll under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times and accompanying adults must be confident their child can finish the walk. \nIf you need more information\, please contact Malvern Town Council team at 01684 566667.

DESCRIPTION:Bold explorers squeeze into the belly of an enormous inflatable Sperm Whale where they find themselves in the depths of the bubbling\, kelp-swirling ocean. They encounter an acrobatic diver who leads them swimmingly through the age old journey of the life of an ancient Leatherback Turtle. With the use of exquisite puppets\, comedy and music\, Circo Rum Ba Ba explore the tale of sea creatures and their battle to survive in an ocean full of rubbish. DESCRIPTION:On Saturday 29 June 2024 in Priory Park from 1pm – 4.30pm\, join cadet groups and local forces charities in this annual event\, celebrated across the country\, that shows support for the personnel who make up the British Forces community. Throughout the afternoon there will be military-style music by Malvern Hills District Brass Band\, performances by the Rock Choir and Stagecoach\, as well as interactive workshops including a Bomber Command workshop and drill workshops. In addition\, there will be a flight simulator\, fire brigade presence and art and craft workshops to enjoy. \n
