DESCRIPTION:In December 2025\, the National Lottery Heritage Fund made a delivery grant award of £561\,305 for the restoration of the tower\, spire and south nave roof at this lovely grade II-listed 14th century church. The building work started on 6 July 2026\, which makes the open day unique and special. \nThe organisers can offer three pre-booked ‘hard hat’ visits: 10am\, 11.30am and 2pm on Tuesday 15 September for small groups of up to 10 people. Because the work is in progress\, all visitors must be over 18. Refreshments will be available along with a free copies of the church history. \nPre-booking is essential by text or WhatsApp message to 07784 064383. Places are available on a first come\, first served basis. \nFor full details\, visit the Heritage Open Days website. \nTimings\nTuesday 15 September 2026: 10am & 11.30am & 2pm
