The arrival in Colwall of the railway in the mid-19th century resulted in the industrialisation of parts of the village. Now only a few remnants remain and this walk will provide a fascinating historical insight into why, where, and how the industry developed.

The walk passes through lovely and varied countryside, with beautiful fields, woods, and orchards, and with splendid views of the West side of the Malvern Hills..

Generally good pathways (some rutted field edges) with only a couple of gentle gradients.

There are no stiles. Sensible footwear is recommended.

Refreshments and afternoon teas can be purchased from The Colwall Park Hotel at the end of the walk which is situated alongside the car park.
