Now we are coming up fast to the May 14th – 15th six film weekend. We can also promise hot croissants, absolutely free, to be served before the morning film both days – what could be better than that!
The first two Saturday films, “Marius” and “Fanny” are Parts 1 and 2 of Pagnol’s Marseille trilogy, both directed by Daniel Auteuil, and both having achieved critical acclaim when they came out in 2013. The evening film “Le Mouton à cinq pattes” is a hilarious comedy, with Fernandel at the height of his powers, and Louis de Funes appearing too. It was another prize-winning film back in 1954. If anyone does not know Fernandel and his work, do come along to this film – you will have a treat and a great laugh as well.
So – do please book for one, two, three, or more films on May 14th – 15th, and help make it our most successful and enjoyable weekend ever. (And don’t forget the croissants).
It is likely there will be seats available on the door for the three Saturday films, and for Sunday evening. The Sunday morning and afternoon films may be sold out, so if you still want to come to them you are probably well advised to book via Malvern Theatres.
