Event Description

Come and explore the beautiful blooms of Malvern Common. Designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) for its flora including orchids, yellow rattle and knapweed, this walk will take in the some of the flowers and grasses of this magical haymeadow.

When: Saturday 3rd June, 2pm – 4pm

Where: Meet at the bench at the junction of St Andrew’s Road and Peachfield Road. Parking is available at car parks along Peachfield Road and on St Andrew’s Road.

Who: Suitable for families and children aged 12+ years. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Difficulty: An easy walk along grassy paths. Route is approximately 1 mile at a slow pace with frequent stops.

What to bring: Suitable clothes for the weather, including hat, sun cream and waterproofs.

Booking: Please contact the Malvern Hills Trust office on [email protected] to book your place. Spaces are limited so make sure you book in advance.

Cost: The event is free but to support the Malvern Hills Trust’s work, a suggested donation of £5 per person towards the conservation the Hills and Commons will be gratefully received.
