5 May – Verging on Wild – working for biodiversity on Herefordshire verges

The speakers will be Susanne Noble, Sally Webster & Anne Crane, members of the Verging on Wild team which is working for biodiversity on Herefordshire verges.
They work with Herefordshire Council, Balfour Beatty Living Places,
Herefordshire Wildlife Trust and several other wildlife organisations They want
to see a change in verge management across the county and to protect the
best verges by listing them as Roadside Verge Nature Reserves (RVNRs) and
managing them for biodiversity.

We continue to ask that everyone planning to attend has taken every precaution prior to the evening in order to ensure, as far as possible, the safety of the speaker and all members of the audience. We would ask that everyone has had their booster and would also encourage everyone to self-test within 24 hours of the meeting.  I hope this will not be a problem for anyone wishing to attend.  Please speak to me (Margaret) if it is.

It would really help our volunteers who are serving the refreshments if people would bring their own cup, but it is not compulsory!

Please check to ensure the event is still taking place before leaving the house to attend.
