Stanbrook Abbey Hotel

4 of 5 stars

Dating back to the early 16th century, Stanbrook Abbey Hotel, a former Grade II listed monastery which lives on through the original architecture – from the dramatic stone cloisters to the gothic stained-glass windows – offers guests a chance to experience a unique taste of what life in an abbey was once like.

A recent £4.2m renovation, meticulously designed to celebrate the hotel’s heritage, introduced the new brasserie-style dining experience in The Refectory restaurant, situated in the site of the original nuns’ cafeteria, as well as eight new bedrooms situated on the second floor with a further seven rooms built in the original schoolhouse in St Anne’s Wing.

Set in 26 acres of extensive gardens, Stanbrook Abbey Hotel is one of Worcestershire’s best-kept secrets and the perfect retreat, whether you are looking for a romantic break or somewhere unique to hold a special event, wedding or meeting. You can even share your experience with your canine companion, just ask about our dog-friendly breaks.
