Malvern Priory Guided Tours

There are guided tours most Saturday mornings at 11am (occasionally at 2pm). Please check the Priory Church calendar to confirm that a tour is going ahead on the day of your visit. There will be some disruption until around Easter 2024 due to the work to level the nave floor.

The scheduled tours are free of charge, but donations are welcomed and all money from the tours goes towards the ongoing repairs and restoration of the Priory building and the medieval glass windows.

The Priory was founded in 1085 as a monastery and contains a wealth of interesting features including medieval stained glass, misericords and a large collection of medieval wall tiles.

Currently the Priory is a thriving Christian church with a large and active congregation. We look forward to sharing our building with you.

Groups can pre-book tours for any day between 9am and 5pm so long as the Priory is not being used for another event. The charge for these is £5 per head.  Please email for further information and to book.

**PLEASE NOTE as of January 2024 work is underway to level the nave floor. This is being done to enable the community to benefit from a far more safe and suitable event space.  While the work continues visitors are very welcome to the east end of the Priory (entry through the accessible entrance) where the Medieval stained glass, misericords and tiles can still be seen. Please check the Malvern Priory website for the latest details and updates on the work.**
