Together with artists Tamsin Abbott and Jo Verity, I’m opening Blue-Ginger for a pop up gallery 2 – 19 December. We will be open 10am – 3pm Thursdays to Sunday (closed Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
It will provide a perfect opportunity for us to say a celebratory goodbye to the gallery and the artists, many of whom have been involved with Blue-Ginger since we first opened in 2004, and an opportunity to bid a fond farewell to our loyal customer base.
There has been so much to celebrate at Blue-Ginger. Lasting friendships have been forged and the many exciting events have kept the gallery buzzing through the years. The artwork has always been exceptional and so desirable!
Now it’s time for me to move on and I’m looking forward to introducing the new owners to this lovely house and the Cradley community.
Please come along and browse the artwork and support our local artists and craft workers.
We won’t be serving beverages and food, but if you want, you’ll be able to pre-order take-away muffins and cakes to collect another day.
Different artists will be helping to steward the exhibition throughout the opening, so there’ll be plenty of opportunity for chat. And I’m really looking forward to seeing those of you who can make it. We’ve all got a lot of catching up to do!
We’d really like it if visitors to the gallery could wear masks. Don’t worry if you forget to bring one – we’ll have some by the entrance door together with hand sanitiser.
