Reaction Theatre Makers, are proud to present Malvern’s favourite theatre festival, FEAST as it is set to return to the town for its 7th year this November.
Taking place from 6 – 12 November the 7 day festival’s main hub is Malvern Cube Community and Arts Centre and this year FEAST will spill out to venues all over the town including the OCC , Elmslie House and Priory Park. Over the course of the week Reaction Theatre Makers invite you to feast on award winning theatre, comedy, dance, cabaret, workshops and family experiences which will challenge, move and inspire.
FEAST has become a place of exciting, stimulating and engaging work where people can learn, be entertained and share ideas. It’s a melting pot of creativity with the heart of a small community strengthened by the presence and input of nationally recognised artists.
Chris Thorpe, performer, writer and activist who hosted last year’s ‘FEAST of Thought’ event, a 3 course meal prepared by Malvern Green Space from food that would alternatively go to waste, says of FEAST “there’s a genuine sense of engaging with all sections of the community across all age ranges.”
This year’s FEAST of Thought will be delivered to an audience of 50 diners and hosted by the daring and inimitable Lucy Hopkins, award winning clown and High Priestess of Idiot.
Alongside Lucy this year’s line-up features:
Sam Ward, Jo Fong/Rachel Freeman, Harriet Dyer, Rosa Faye Garland, Aby Watson, Tammy Reynolds, Abby Watson, Strange Futures, Lewis Holt, Enter Edem, Adam Blake, Emma Bourke and Ildikó Rippel.
“It’s like going to Edinburgh Fringe without having to travel!” said an audience member.
