Pink blossom blooms in Hanley Castle Garden

Visit the Open Gardens & Flower Festival at Hanley Swan this May Bank Holiday weekend – Saturday 30 April, Sunday 1 May and Monday 2 May.

Over the past 12 years this annual event has grown into an exciting village wide fixture which many local people look forward to and which attracts visitors from far & wide.

This year, 16 gardens will be open from noon until 5pm on each of the three days. In addition, there will be a Flower Festival in St. Gabriel’s Church featuring beautiful arrangements on the theme of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the Commonwealth.

A map giving the locations and a short description of each garden is printed in the leaflet which you can pick up at Hanley Village Stores or any Tourist Information Office in Malvern, Upton or Tewkesbury.

Light lunches and afternoon teas will be served at The Grange (no.1 on the map) and afternoon teas will be served in the church from 2pm. You will find that many of the open gardens also sell plants, giving you something to take home and plant in your own garden.

Tickets will be £7.50 (for the gardens & flower festival) or £3 (for the flower festival only). The tickets can be brought at
St. Gabriel’s church or any gardens over the weekend or online at the link below and are valued for all three days – ideal if you can’t get round all the gardens in one day.

We look forward to welcoming you to our gardens over the Bank Holiday weekend. For more information please contact
