The Malvern Hills Vineyards are delighted to welcome Deer Park into its association. Deer Park has a great reputation for producing great wine and providing great hospitality, and has chosen to team up to highlight how local expertise and reputation in growing great grapes and making excellent wines, is going from strength to strength in this area.
Together the seven vineyards grow no fewer than 14 grape varieties over a total of 40 hectares spanning three counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire. They produce a wide range of still and sparkling wines, regularly winning awards in international tasting competitions. In fact, the 2026 tasting competitions have been very favourable to the Malvern Hills partners. Four out of the six vineyards have won awards at international competitions.
Notably Two Beacons won three medals in this year’s prestigious Decanter worldwide awards, Three Choirs with no less than 17 awards just this year, and Deer Park with Decanter and Wine GB awards. The success of Marlbank with a silver in the Wine GB awards this year, despite its tiny size, just shows how smaller vineyards can use the growing conditions and the weather to produce great wines.
The vineyard collective are going to celebrate this outstanding success and the arrival of Deer Park, with a Wine Festival on 5 September 2026 starting at 12 midday right through to 6pm. You will be able to taste these award winning wines, with a commemorative glass, in the amazing surrounds of Mathon Court, the base for the Two Beacons Vineyard. Interesting talks about growing grapes and making wine, local musicians, games and food stalls will complete the afternoon’s entertainment.
