On 27 – 29 June 2024 Upton upon Severn has a town-full of Jazz to keep you busy and entertained.
On 27, 28 and 29 June you’re welcome to the 38th Jazz Festival and to the lovely riverside town of Upton-upon-Severn. There are 4 events in one: a ticketed high-quality programme of concerts featuring British Jazz Award winners; a full programme of free to enter gigs in pubs clubs and cafes all in town plus the return of Music at the Museum.
The 7th Upton Jazz Fringe is at the Swan Hotel with soul, ska, folk, shanties and maybe just a touch of jazz! The Upton Jazz Rising Stars will be at home in the Baptist Church where the Church Service will also take place. You’re invited to gather down by the Riverside at 11.00am on Saturday, with decorated umbrellas. There are prizes for young people and adults – kindly sponsored by Sian of the Violet Bookshop in Upton. Martin Allen will open the Festival and the Upton Primary School Rising Stars will sing. Enjoy a weekend of jazz with tunes, a beat and a smile!

As always there are free-to-enter gigs in 7 venues in and around town, and just half a mile apart.
