Event Description

A concentrated high-impact sensory journey where participants will experience the Nettles full transformation from sustenance to sacredness where the boundaries between plant, performer, and participant dissolve.

A Japanese-style tea ceremony unfolds. The air hums with nettle music – an otherworldly soundscape generated by electrodes attached to living nettle plants (pre-recorded), transforming the plant’s own bio-electrical rhythms into an ambient, haunting score. the Nettle Epoch poem will be recited with quiet intensity – each word landing like a seed in dark soil.

Afterwards, a brief synopsis of the nettle’s gifts will emerge: a superfood richer in protein than any leafy green, a fibre that clothed armies, a medicine that clears toxins and feeds the brain. Then the transformation is complete: the same plant that stings now offers nettle energy balls to taste, earthy and sweet, proof that fear can become nourishment.

Each participant will leave the quiet knowing that they have crossed a threshold and emerged changed, initiated into the Nettle Tribe.
