Event Description

Come and witness a unique 4-hand piano concert, where Elgar favourites the Enigma Variations and Pomp and Circumstance will be played in full. This is an event not to be missed.

Elli Welsh, the current Associate Pianist for The Royal Ballet, and Ilan Kurtser, a recent Bicentenary Scholar at the Royal Academy of Music, will be performing.

Elli Welsh’s performance highlights include playing at the Royal Opera House’s Family Sunday public events playing Nutcracker and Swan Lake. Ilan Kurtser is recording his debut CD of the complete Goethe-Lieder by Hugo Wolf and is currently a Fellow at the Academy curating art song concerts and coaching singers and pianists.

Complete the day by soaking up the atmosphere at Elgar’s first home. Explore the quaint English cottage garden where pretty spring flowers are starting to bloom. Stop off at Little Al’s café for consistently great and Fairtrade coffee, refreshing teas and a selection of brunch favourites.

Concert tickets: £12.50 (standard admission charges also apply to non-members on arrival) – online booking for concert essential
