Event Description

Join a National Trust ranger for a twilight walk in the garden to see and listen to bats at Croome. Those attending will use bat detectors to listen to the bats.

A range of bat species can be found at the property including Lesser Horseshoes, pipistrelles and Daubenton bats. They roost in some of the buildings and eat insects in the garden and park.

Assemble at 7.30pm by the visitor reception for a cold drink and a snack, followed by a walk in the garden to look and listen for the bats, finishing at around 10pm.

The walk route is approximately 2 – 3 miles. Sorry, no dogs.

Please note that the walk will be cancelled only in extreme weather conditions.
