Event Description

Enjoy a dusk walk in the garden at Croome to see and listen to bats. We’ll use bat detectors to listen to the bats.

A variety of bat species can be found at Croome including Lesser Horseshoes, pipistrelles and Daubenton bats. They roost in some of the buildings and feed on the insects in the garden and park.

Meet at 7.15pm at the visitor reception to enjoy a cold drink and a snack, followed by a walk in the garden to spot the bats. Finish time approximately 10pm.

Route around 2 – 3 miles. Sorry, no dogs.

Walk will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions.
