Multi award-winning singer-songwriter Charlie Dore is joined at Malvern Cube by her long-time collaborator Julian Littman of Steeleye Span. The audience can expect an evening of “intriguingly other” eclectic contemporary folk with crunchy lyrics as Charlie and Julian swap guitars, mandolin, piano, harmonium, autoharp, ukulele and lots of banter. They’ll showcase Charlie’s latest album and dip into live favourites from previous albums including the double award-winning Dark Matter, as well as sharing original acoustic versions of hits she has written for others, including George Harrison, Jimmy Nail and Celine Dion. They’ll be joined by five string double bass player Gareth Huw Davies who also adds cello and vocals to the mix.
