Event Description

Built in 1836 by the United Brethren, the Gadfield Elm Chapel is the world’s oldest surviving Latter-day Saint chapel. Today, restored to its original glory, it stands as a lasting memory of mass conversions that took place there from 1840.

Step inside a building where faith, history and change came together nearly two hundred years ago.
