Event Description

A half-hour tour of the Priory with a focus on the stained glass, both mediaeval and modern. The tour is led by Katherine Little who is one of the Priory guides and an expert on the stained glass.

The Priory was begun in 1085 when a small group of Benedictine monks affiliated to Westminster Abbey were located in Malvern to be the stewards of the Royal Malvern Chase.

In the second half of the 15th century, the building was extended to include wider aisles, the chancel and a number of outstanding windows, along with a larger tower.

For this event, it is advisable to book online in advance.
