Event Description
Six gardens in the charming historic village of Hanley Swan, all different in style and design.
Entrance tickets and maps are available from Orchard Side, with wristbands valid for both days.
Visitors will find many wildlife features within the gardens with increasing environmental considerations, growing vegetables, fruit trees, herbs, perennials and exotics, cottage garden style plantings. Seventeenth-century black-and-white cottage (not open) sits in one of the gardens. Gardens with plenty of places to sit. One new garden and one returning this year. New planting schemes within the group. 19 Winnington Gardens has wildlife photographs and vintage garden, blacksmith and carpentry tools on display. Here you can sit and enjoy your tea.
The gardens open in 2026 are: 19 Winnington Gardens, The Paddocks, 20 Winnington Gardens, Yew Tree Cottage, Orchard Side and Orchard House.
For this open weekend, you can either book your tickets online in advance or just turn up and pay on the day (cash or card).

Saturday 13 June, 1pm – 5pm
Sunday 14 June, 1pm – 5pm
Tea, coffee and cake will be available at 19 Winnington Gardens on both dates (refreshments in aid of local Hanley Castle & District RBL Branch).
