The walk starts in the attractive town of Ledbury, and follows sections of the Geopark Way and Herefordshire Trail.
We’ll stop on Oyster Hill for morning coffee – please bring a drink and snack of choice.
Then on to Colwall and British Camp through countryside and woodland, mainly on the Geopark Way.
There are toilets and a cafe at British Camp for our lunch stop before the climb up to the Herefordshire Beacon; from the 1,109 feet (338 m) summit there are great views over the area.
From here we stay up high across Hangman’s Hill, Millennium Hill and Swinyard Hill on the Three Choirs Way before dropping down into News Wood and then back up to the Eastnor Obelisk, a 90ft grade 2 listed monument overlooking the Eastnor Deer Park.
There is another toilet and café in the village of Eastnor, before we follow the Geopark Way through Conygree Wood back to Ledbury.
There are many steep hills – elevation gain 630 m.  Some uneven ground and stiles alongside smooth tracks and small lanes, so please make sure that you are fit enough to enjoy this walk.
