Event Description

The Friends of Malvern Museum organise a series of fascinating lectures on various topics.

On 24 April 2025, come along to hear about the early days of Great Malvern’s railway station. This magnificent station always attracts a good deal of interest, and in this talk Michael will share his research into the early days of the station’s life. He will explain how our famous Water Cure doctor and the formidable Lady of the Manor influenced its design and purpose in the 1860s. Michael is chairman of the Malvern Railways Group and recent research has made available much new and fascinating material.

Lectures begin at 2.30pm and admission is free to Friends of Malvern Museum or £3 for visitors.

Refreshments are served during the meeting at a small charge.
