Event Description
Bring colour and light into winter’s darkness as you create a trio of shimmering glass globes for tea lights – each one a tiny universe of ink and glow, to hang or rest on a shelf.
Alongside, craft wooden gift tags touched with your own marks and hues. A gentle, luminous afternoon of making, warmth, and quiet celebration.
As the days grow shorter, join Ali from Dragonrune Crafts in the studio for a joyful morning of colour, light, and festive making. In this relaxed, creative workshop, you’ll learn how to use inks and simple layering techniques to decorate translucent glass globes that shimmer when lit from within.
Each participant will create a set of three unique tea light globes – perfect to hang, cluster on a mantel, or place on a festive table – plus a series of wooden gift tags painted and inked in the same palette for a beautifully coordinated collection.
We’ll explore flowing colour, layering, and transparency, drawing inspiration from the season’s light and warmth. No experience needed – just curiosity and a sense of play!
All materials, refreshments, and guidance included.
Numbers are limited to a maximum of 6 (7 at a push) and minimum of 4 people for a relaxed, personal experience.
Cost: £85 per person
Time: From 10am (3 – 3.5 hours)
