Event Description

Storyteller Peter Chand presents a heady collection of some of his favourite traditional stories, some of which he has collected from India, translated, and shares now with us in his own unique and skilful style.

Expect a mouth-watering blend of evocative, dark, and thoughtful tales from the Indian sub-continent, as relevant today as they have ever been. Tales selected by one Europe’s most in-demand performers, trainers and story activists.

Born and bred in Wolverhampton England, Peter has told his stories from South Wales to Singapore, Tennessee to Toronto, Amsterdam to Athens- and many a place in between. He looks forward to welcoming you to Tales from the Motherland.
