Event Description
Nestled in meadows beside the beautiful and bustling Victorian spa town of Tenbury Wells and dating back to 1858, Tenbury Countryside Show pulls in thousands of visitors each year. The one-day show is amongst the UK’s largest, but retains its rural charm and is deeply rooted in local agricultural and horticultural history.
A fabulously enjoyable day out for visitors, competitors and exhibitors alike, Tenbury Countryside Show is the home of the Hereford Cattle Society and the National Association of Ryeland Sheep, giving visitors the chance to see immaculate examples of some of the country’s finest heritage breeds. From birds of prey to ferrets, horses, livestock, pigs and rabbits, it’s a real treat for animal lovers.
With main ring events, children’s entertainment, demonstrations, vintage tractors and classic vehicles, tug of war (with steam engines and Young Farmers!), tractor pulling, trade stands, concessions, local ales and ciders, Tenbury Show is a fun day out for all.
