Event Description
The Night Ali Died is the second multi-award-winning solo thriller by Christopher Sainton-Clark (A Year and a Day).
Ali is under deadly threat from a vicious London gangster and is placed under police surveillance in order to protect both him and his family. Despite this, for some reason, on one night, Ali chooses to sneak out into the night and leave his family behind, sparking a bloody domino effect that ricochets through the sleepy streets of Norwich.
Told through the brutal accounts of Ali, a henchman, a detective and a mob boss, the thriller reveals what on earth happened on the night Ali died.
The work premiered at Prague Fringe 2025 and won three awards in its first ever run, including a vote as audience favourite.
