Event Description

The Salt Path is an honest and life-affirming true story of the healing power of the natural world, based on the hugely popular memoir written by Raynor Winn.

The book and film detail the experiences of Raynor and her husband (Moth) as they walk the South West Coast Path, a journey prompted by being made homeless and learning that Moth is living with a rare neurodegenerative condition called Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD).

Directed by Marianne Elliot, the film stars Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs as Raynor and Moth.

The film received its first screening during the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.
