Event Description

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon making your own willow bird-feeder, great for holding fat balls to support birds in the garden as we go into the colder months.

This workshop will be held at Bransford Community Farm, set in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside next to the River Teme.

The group will be small (maximum of 10 adults) to ensure that each participant receives plenty of individual guidance and will take things at a slow, relaxed pace.

You’ll learn some simple willow crafting techniques, meet other like-minded people and create your own unique bird feeder to take home.

There will be a short break for everyone to stretch their fingers and there will be refreshments available from the Community Cafe at the farm.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners aged 18 and above.

All equipment and materials will be supplied and no previous experience is required. Please note, however, that this project does require some finger strength and dexterity to bend the willow into place.
