The Talbot at Knightwick

Nestled peacefully on the picturesque banks of the River Teme, set in the shadows of the Malvern Hills, The Talbot at Knightwick is a traditional coaching inn which has been an institution of the local community since the 15th century.

Independently owned, the Clift family have been managing The Talbot for over thirty years and are supported by a dedicated and talented team who help make The Talbot unique. The ethos here at The Talbot is simple. We’re all about being authentic and excellent in everything we do; from the food & drink, our hospitable welcome and the home-from-home space we’ve created. We make and grow nearly everything that goes into our pub food, from the bread to the vegetables and even the beer itself! That’s right – we have our own on-site bakery, kitchen garden and produce our own beer at The Teme Valley Brewery!

The Talbot has been graced with a few awards over the years, most recently The Good Pub Guide’s Country Dining Pub 2018 for Worcestershire. Our kitchen uses only the freshest ingredients from suppliers in the local community and we gather produce from our very own kitchen garden and allotment. This allows us to create a menu that delivers the freshest seasonal dishes to our guests with a strong emphasis on traditional hearty pub food, all reworked with an imaginative flair and wholesome flavours.

Throughout the spring and summer months we will be serving some pub classics and al fresco menu options, including fish & chips, pizza and burgers, for our guests to enjoy across our beautiful lawns overlooking the River Teme, along with plenty of activity with a large marquee and outdoor screens to gear up for a summer of sport and we will be hosting movie nights under the stars.
