The Cottage in The Wood

With the stress and complication of modern life, reconnecting with nature is more important now than ever. Why not re-discover forgotten skills our ancient ancestors relied on for food, health and beauty.

The Cottage in the Wood Malvern have teamed up with food writer, forager and cook Clare Knivett to offer a unique and insightful experience into seasonal foraging. A two and a half hour tour of our local landscape, filled with dense woods, sprawling hills and sweeping views of the Severn Valley, that covers which plants are edible and wellbeing benefits. In addition to recipes, book recommendations and answers to any questions that participants might have.

Inspired by Japanese forest bathing techniques, take in the beauty and majesty of the local woodland as well as breath-taking views of the Severn Valley, while learning vital new skills. The benefits of nature are revitalizing to the human spirit, especially led by such an expert in her field. Clare Knivett is a renowned food writer, editor, forager and cook and it is an honour to be privy to her wealth of knowledge.

The package includes staying in one of the Cottage in the Wood’s luxurious rooms, dinner and a delicious afternoon tea. A follow up email will be sent with recipes, expert advice and book recommendations tailored to your interests.
