Come and sing-along with this classic musical on Sunday 29 May 2022 from 4pm – 6pm at The Regal, Tenbury in aid of The Mayor’s Charity – supporting Tenbury Charities and local residents in need.
Dress up and sing-along to this classic 1978 musical, where good girl Sandy Olsson and greaser Danny Zuko fall in love over the summer. When they unexpectedly discover they are now in the same High School, will they be able to rekindle their romance?
What is a Sing-Along film? Well the clue is in the name! Usually during film screenings it is polite to keep quiet and not rustle your sweet packets too loudly, well at a sing-along you are encouraged to join in with the actors and break into song too. It doesn’t matter if you are a regular at the choir or just dusting off your vocal chords after a long break, everyone is welcome to raise a tune to all the favourites such as Summer Nights and Greased Lightening. You are also encouraged to dress up as one of the characters or just in your finest 1950’s style threads.
This screening promises to be a fantastically fun event and of course its all for a good cause with proceeds going to The Mayors Charity which supports local charities and residents in need. Full price tickets are £10 and concessions £8.50.
