It’s hard to beat a traditional roast on a sleepy Sunday. Make a day of it and take one of our roast and ramble recommendations enjoying both the best of countryside views and cosy dishes. There are plenty of family friendly pubs with play areas for excited little ones such as The Old Bush in Callow End which serves a traditional Sunday Roast and has a lovely countryside setting with a large pub garden and play area.

If you have a vegetarian in your group head to the Duke of York Inn. Set at the foot of Raggedstone Hill this country inn with an open fire and old wooden beams offers the traditional roast with meat, veggie and vegan options served with seasonal veggies, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes. What could be better!

Pembroke House in Tenbury Wells is well thought of for Sunday lunch and has a good range of options for all tastes – their roast potatoes deserve a special mention.
