Malvern Jazz, Blues & Swing club first opened their doors in 1995 and live music events are held monthly at the Cube on Albert Road North.

Their programme continues on Sunday 5 June 2022 with the visit of Jeanne Marlow & Glen Manby with the Rod Kelly Trio.
One of the oldest boy bands around with a combined age of 250 years Rod’s trio have independently accompanied many of the great British & American jazz musicians from Acker Bilk & Ronnie Scott to Billy Butterfield & Nat Adderley.
Supported by the trio iare Jeanne Marlow – whose knowledge & superb mature vocal delivery of the Great American Songbook is rarely surpassed, and top Cardiff based reeds player Glen Manby (pictured).

Treasurer Neil Thwaites commented: “Rod is a long time crowd favourite on the Jazz scene, and always delivers an entertaining and enjoyable show”.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming Jeanne and Glen to the club, two new names recommended to us by Rod”.
“A session from Rod is always great fun from boogie-woogie, blues and classic American swing to mainstream jazz and big band vocals in the style of Bobby Darin and Nat King Cole”.

For this session at the Cube on Sunday 5 June doors open at 7pm, the band will play from 8pm – 10:30pm (including interval) and admission is £10 cash on the door.
