Visitors mention the fantastic views from the Hills and note that access to Great Malvern for refreshments is a great option for walkers. Praise is also given for the variety of different walks and paths and excellent pubs to stop at en-route. Many walkers choose to highlight the sense of achievement and wellbeing given by summiting the highest peaks of The Malverns – so come and feel it for yourself!

Great Malvern Priory

Old Court Nurseries & Picton Garden

Established in 1906 this nursery and gardens cultivates rare plants and is famous for its collection of Michaelmas daises. The gardens winding paths lead you to discover a gorgeous display of yellow heritage Narcissus and, as spring gives way to summer, an explosion of colourful herbaceous flowers. Many visitors recommended visiting multiple times throughout the year to get the full experience of all the different flowers. Visitors describe delights around every one of the well maintained winding paths of the gardens – and many come away with their own piece of the gardens from the nursery.

Priory Park

Conveniently located in the centre of Great Malvern these former Victorian leisure gardens are thoroughly enjoyed by Trip Advisor users. Reviewers encourage even non car enthusiasts to visit the experience centre that offers a museum as well as guided tours of the factory floor. Reviewers heap praise on the knowledgeable factory tour guides and express that the tours are suitable for even car novices as tour guides are adept at explaining technicalities in plain language.

Anupam

This stalwart of the Great Malvern restaurant scene has been serving up fine – dining Indian food since 1987 and was awarded the Trip Advisor Travellers Choice for 2023. Trip Advisor reviewers can’t stop raving about the excellent service, gorgeous food and welcoming atmosphere of Anupam. Many reviewers have made repeat visits and assure hungry travellers that a visit is well worth the trip. One reviewer describes the dishes as “faultless” and urges visitors to try the melt-in-the-mouth butter chicken.

Abbey Road Coffee
