Event Description
For the Lack of Laura by Kurt Rosenberg is a spellbinding adventure which features twenty-six new original songs from the mind of America’s next great composer.
The story starts when Laura, a young Irish heroine with her eyes on the stars, makes an immortality bargain with the evil sorceress Gwendolethe. This magic gift (or is it a curse?) allows her to travel through both time and space in search of true love. However, the pact comes with a price: Gwendolethe warns that, when she selects a lover, she will become mortal again, and her immortality will be transferred to her lover.
Faced with a host of fine suitors from a galaxy of time periods and cultures, including Spain, Russia, The Cotswolds, Paris, and New Orleans, just one question remains for Laura: who will she choose?
For the Lack of Laura, the new stage musical from Kurt Rosenberg, is a tale that explores the exciting themes of love, magic and wanderlust. It is suitable for all the family to enjoy and promises to be a show you won’t soon forget!
