Welcome to The Malverns

The Malverns are a uniquely beautiful place offering more than just landscape, with beautiful towns and thriving villages to explore. Our festivals, arts and wide choice of attractions will give you reasons to visit for a short break or longer throughout the year.

The Malverns in Worcestershire cover a large area including the victorian spa town of Malvern itself at the foot of the Malvern Hills, Tenbury Wells in the beautiful English countryside of the Teme Valley, and historic riverside town of Upton upon Severn.

We have fabulous accommodation to suit all tastes, the finest local produce available across a selection of fine restaurants and country inns. With activities for all, historic venues, people and museums and renowned gardens….we could go on but why don’t you come and see for yourself!

Malvern Hills Winter Snow

Winter Breaks Across The Malverns

As Christmas approaches, with the gleam of frost starting to bloom across Malvern, the town enshrouded by the fearsome white-tipped Malvern hills, twinkling lights strung across the streets beneath, we are beginning to celebrate in a variety of ways.

Walking

On foot, hitting the trail, rambling… is there any better way to experience the Malverns than heading out for a walk in some of England’s finest countryside?

We don’t think so, which is why we’ve put together a fantastic range of downloadable walks and a walking app highlighting some of the best of the area.

The Malvern Hills, which divide the beautiful English countryside of Herefordshire and Worcestershire, are a great destination for walkers of all ages and abilities, whether you are interested in a gentle stroll along a tree-lined path or an energetic trek along the ridge of the Malvern Hills. The unspoilt Teme Valley offers a great range of walking in glorious countryside and the Severn valley has striking riverside walks with views of the Cotswold beyond.
