Ever wondered what England was like 500 years ago? Wonder no more as Kyre Park Medieval Pageant allows you to step back in time to 1461 and experience what life was like in the midst of the War of The Roses. The houses of Lancaster and York are struggling for power, the prestige of the English monarchy is weakened and potential heirs are falling left, right and centre – it would have been a scary but momentous time to be alive.

The Kyre Park Estate’s medieval origins will add to the atmosphere of this recreation which includes living history displays, medieval music and dance, culminating in the Kyre skirmish with soldiers at arms locked in a desperate battle for survival.

Get yourselves and your family into the spirit and don medieval garb as a prince, princess, knight or peasant and soak in the historical spirit of the day.

Kyre park antiques barn will be open for you to snap up your own piece of history. The Bistro will also be open serving sandwiches, light lunches, cheeseboards, cakes and coffee and a visit to Kyre Park gardens is included in your ticket price. These beautiful gardens were landscaped by Capability Brown in 1754 and include lakes, waterfalls, amazing countryside view’s and plenty of wildlife and old trees.
